We are only one hour from the south rim of the Grand Canyon, in Williams, Arizona,surrounded by the Kaibab National Forest, five small fishing lakes, miles of hiking and biking trails. The motel is close to the center of a small community (2,500) nestled against Bill Williams Mountain at an elevation of 6,700 ft. We are on old Route 66, with restaurants, and quaint shops within walking distance.
Close to the junction of Interstate I-40 and Highway 64, Route 66 is the center of town, quiet and in summer never too hot.

The Grand Motel was built in 1936 for Route 66 "THE MOTHER ROAD" travelers and visitors to the Grand Canyon.
16 well-appointed rooms are offered at a modest cost.
All rooms are being decorated with a Route 66 traveling theme in mind.
The Rooms at the Grand Motel have modern heat pump air conditioning, premium cable TV, clock radios, direct dial telephones with free local calls , microwave ovens, refrigerators, individual baths, and in room coffee in the winter months.
Coffee,tea,juice, milk, cold cerials, danish, muffins, bagels, and some seasonal fruit served at 8AM on the patio.
In the months when it is too cold to have breakfast on the patio, "Breakfast items" are avialable upon request and coffee makers are provided in your room. Coffee is always free for guests.
