The Route 66 experience
Staying at the Grand Motel is your chance to re-live Route 66, also known as the Mother Road, without giving up modern lodging upgrades. The 1936 building with its thick plaster walls, coved ceilings, tiled baths and well maintained plumbing provide a genuine look back in the history of Route 66.
Just across the street is the Gateway Motel with its famous neon sign.
The Gateway was built in 1941 and is being converted to offices and named GATEWAY PLAZA.
